site clearance, land drainage, demolition, agri-services, haulage and low loader service.
We have a wide range of plant from excavators, dozers, dumpers, lorries and tractors that can cater for all types of grounds
works. All our equipment and machines are well maintained and meet safety regulations.
We pride ourselves on providing our customers with a reliable high-quality service. We are committed to working within current
safety and environmental standards whilst completing projects on time and within budget.
We are available for contract at an hourly or daily rate as required.

About us
Established in the 1970’s when Eddie Boyd purchased his first rubber wheeled Massey digger to carry out works on local group water mains schemes. During this time Eddie also carried out Agri contracting cutting silage, lime spreading and square bailing. The business grew when Eddie purchased lorries, track machines and dozers for site clearance, land reclaiming and road making.
Eddie’s son Gregory joined him in 2004 starting out at wind farm work and cabling. Since then, the business has grown steadily as they continue to provide a professional and reliable service. As well as works outlined in our services G&E Boyd plant hire has operated as a sub-contractor to many construction companies on large developments throughout Ireland and the UK
